I hung out with friends today after class. Listening to the Shins convinced me that I wanted to start a pop band, possibly a one-man act because I doubt I can find a bassist, drummer and a possible keyboardist. We paid the typical visits to the guitar shop and the bookstore, and saw Rain. It didn't do much for me, I found it to be either monotonous and uneventful, or too archaic and arty for my simple mind, I'm not sure which. I did happen to get an invite to jam with my friend's band on Saturday, which I'm anxiously looking forward to.
