The more and more I consider spending on home recording, the more and more I wonder what in the hell is possessing me to do so. Will I be doing this in 5, 10, or 20 years? Will my investments be too-soon idle? Of course, the real question is, does that matter? God only knows what I'd be spending all these hundreds (and quite probably thousands) of dollars on if I didn't keep myself occupied with this...
