I spent a hour sorting through used CDs at a record store, subversively compiling a section of good music, which actually was quite large in number -- 50 or so albums including Postal Service, Smiths, Beach Boys, Weezer, Stereolab, His Name Is Alive, John Lennon, They Might Be Giants, Bob Dylan, and others. I ended up getting the Smiths' Louder Than Bombs for $4. I'll probably have to go back sometime soon... I'm thumbing at a deal to get the FMR Audio pair for $612 rather than $700. I don't know if the savings is worth it, since I'm getting it from an unknown third party. |
