Undoubtedly one of the worst academic experiences you can have is the "logic block", the inability to articulate the explicit, step-to-step terms in which you reached your synthesized conclusion. I had that for 7 hours today, and got nothing done. And then I went to a Butoh theatre performance. I was still worried when I got back, but suddenly, I could say what I needed to say, point-to-point in its near-entirety, in less 3 hours. Unbelievable. And an absolute relief, of course!

And now I just need to fill in the details. That's the hope, anyhow.
