I've become absolutely enamored with Arundhati Roy, with a beautifully eloquent and severely affecting speech and discussion with Howard Zinn on CSPAN. So affecting was her speech that it's shaken me out of the sociopolitical apathy and futility I'd fallen into. I'm off to buy her books and read other relevant literature that I've sinfully neglected.
