After some thought, I decided against buying another condenser until I save up -- I had considered getting a decent $200 one, but I think I can wait a bit for a far superior $500 condenser. I hope this will be among the last microphones I'll have to buy. In the meantime I'll be residing to lo-fi'edness to record a-something on tape that I hope to finish before I leave.

In a money-making effort to be rid of all things useless, I sold my steel-string acoustic for $50.
