So today was spent about, we went to the Seattle Art Museum. There is a sense of evocation that looking at art generates. I won't bother describing most of them, but they had a collection which ranged from abstract expressionism to minimalism to more classical forms. A good chunk of time was spent walking Seattle in search of lunch, which ended up purposeless (we ate at a hot dog stand from which we started), but was a welcome adventure. After this we visited the Henry Art Gallery at UW which featured several pieces installation art by a James Turell. These pieces were absolutely incredible. There is no way to properly describe them. You, literally, have to experience it for yourself.

It was all a lot of fun. I'm going to have to go back sometime.
