I realized that one reason why I can't write songs too often is because I demand them to be honest. I can't sing words that I don't like or don't believe in. That's partly why I hate the EP. I'm not a poet, but if I'm going to write lyrics they need to be simple and frank and not overly ambitious. That alone is difficult for me. Melodies come easier because they're more or less oblique.

That said, even in my extremely brief haitus, I wrote a song. I think it's a complete Smog rip-off, but who's to care. I don't really anymore. So here's two more (one, two) that've been working on (likely to not finish) and has been floating around in my head, respectively. And an instrumental.
