I titled this weekend "better-than-expected". I had hoped to finish my paper at 9:00 AM on Friday, when it was due at 4:00 PM. I was delighted when I followed through with that. Few things could have spoiled my glee. Somewhere between here and there I saw Man On The Train. A surprisingly pleasant film. I went to Mirah on Saturday night. I only had expectations for Mirah, but all the acts were glorious. Religious. Yesterday night I biked downtown with a clot of skepticism in mind. The first two acts dissapointed, but The Blow sparkled. She acapella'd "When You Were Mine." I biked home happy. |
