So instead of Mexico, down a driver, we're heading up north to Canada. I think I'm more enthused by this destination than southward. Drinking and mushrooms are planned, of course not by me.

The show in Portland went surprisingly well. It was in a friend of a friend's basement, but there must have been at least 30 or 40 people there. I was a bit anxious at first, but I quickly felt comfortable on stage and was able to concentrate on my performance. It was a lucky chance that I had set up the Logs' website that very day, and was able to refer a few people who talked to me later. A brilliant weekend.
