I spent my whole day nerding out, trying to get my Windows computer to act properly as a SSH server, for when I wander and use insecure wifi access points with my laptop. It turns out I misunderstood what a SSH server could do (I thought I could just forward HTTP packets directly through it -- I was dead wrong), and wasted a lot of my time blindly installing weird packages and going over the same system settings over and over. Anyway, I can now rest assured that my completely worthless information will not be pilfered.
